Pricing Transparency

Effective January 1, 2019, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services require hospitals to publicly post a document listing its standard charges. The information in the document must be easily processed by computers and updated at least annually, or more often as appropriate. Please note, the standard charges listed may not accurately reflect what you will be asked to pay for a particular service. Actual charges will be dependent upon the specific services you received, your insurance coverage and terms of your plan. We suggest you check with your insurance carrier to determine if you will have any out-of-pocket costs.

Additionally, some services that you receive while in our hospital may be provided by health care providers who are not employed by SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital and may separately bill you for their services. That provider may or may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as our hospital.

For general billing inquiries, to request an itemized bill or to pay a bill, contact our Central Business Office (CBO) at (888) 868-1103. If you need financial assistance related to an outstanding balance due, please refer to our Financial Hardship Policy and contact the CBO to determine if you qualify for financial assistance.
