Medical Director

Archana Barve, M.D.

Dr. Archana Barve is the medical director of SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital – Oklahoma City. In this role since 2024, Dr. Barve oversees the hospital’s clinical work and medical staff.

A board-certified physiatrist with over 30 years of experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), Dr. Barve previously served as the medical director of rehabilitation at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Oklahoma City. Her clinical expertise includes the non-surgical management of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Dr. Barve is passionate about working alongside patients on their recovery journey. She believes in compassionate, patient-centered care that combines medical expertise with empathy, education and individualized rehabilitation strategies.

Dr. Barve earned her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed her PM&R residency training at the University of Pittsburgh.
